Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Position Purpose:
* To support the farmers and promote agricultural Irrigation machinery, pumps, and water management services
* To lead a technical team to achieve DAL Engineering goals in Agricultural,and customers satisfaction within the agreed budget.
* To obtain the revenue, market share and margins while controlling operating costs
* To recruit, develop, train, mentor and coach an effective sales force
* To create a sales culture that maximizes sales opportunities
* Act as the interface between the management of the company and the market

Duties and Responsibilities:

Planning:
* Organize territory market strategies for effective sales growth and penetration.
* Develops annual Sales plan and budget in conjunction with the related department, which details activities to follow during the forecast period, which focus on meeting organizational objectives.
* Develop opportunities to represent the Company to all potential and current customers.
* Develop and implements sales activity plans to meet monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts and budget.
* Accountable for the creation, development, organization, coordination, and execution of quality sales and services activities and initiatives.
* Coordinates account management strategies with Company Sales/Service Representatives.
* Continuously monitors the market to adapt the product strategy to meet customer and company expectations.
* Develops and maintains cordial relations with suppliers to improve revenue, margins and market share.

Sales Operation:
* Continually follow up and assess the progress of sales representatives to achieve 100% of the objectives set by the company.

- Rolling demand management
* Ensures the sales team (Irrigation and Water Management) delivers the required number of sales and service calls in quantity and quality.
* Ensures the proper use of the relevant sales and marketing support materials and ensures adequate quantities are available for the sales force.
* Monitors and focus the sales force (Irrigation and Water Management) to achieve the maximum amount of “new” revenue generating customers.
* Recommends equipment orders and maintains a rolling demand management forecast.
* Assist in recommending pricing guidelines.
* Gets involved when needed to resolve customer disputes and assists in collecting outstanding debt in the timeframe set by the management.
* Able to understand customer process and objectives to provide consultation to improve productivity through right machine application
* Participate in local and international fairs and conduct visits when required.

Leadership & Coaching:
* Promotes a sales culture to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty, repeat business and maintains a positive attitude.
* Understand and rigorously applies the concepts of completed staff work.
* Is actively involved to maintain a learning culture within his team and ensures that all staff has an updated Individual Learning

Plan updated as per the company guidelines:
* Develops and maintains a succession plan based on the level of current staff and determines “HIPO” for future openings while identifying employees who do not meet performance expectations.
* Conduct performance appraisals of direct reports as per the company policy & procedure

Reporting:
* Provide reports on local market trends to management.
* Completes 100% of the reports requested by management within the requested timeframe

Requirements

* B.Sc/B.BA is Essential
* M.Sc is Desirable
* 8 to 10 Years of Experience
