Job description / Role
- Responsible for all company operations during overnight shift hours focusing on warehouse operations, Production and overall operations.
- To manage the warehouse operations through proper Housekeeping, receiving, order making, recording, dispatching, checking, sorting, moving, stock rotating, FIFO, Stock control and ensure proper space utilization.
- Develops warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout; implementing changes.
- Assist in implementing plans as agreed to- support continuous and sustained improvements in business performance.
- Management of employees to ensure optimum utilization of, people, process and materials during nightshifts .
- Manage and monitor activities of all employees in the company making sure they adhere to the standards of excellence and to the guidelines ,policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the good housekeeping and cleanliness of all areas under his direct control.
- Prepare daily nightshift report for overall operations.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Ensure full investigation of accidents and corrective action plans are closed out.
- Liaise with other departments as required.
Requirements
- Bsc. in Business Administration or any related field
- Minimum 3 Years Management Experience preferable in FMCG or Manufacturing industries
- Proven management skills.
- Budgetary control awareness
- Logical, analytical and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Numerate and detail conscious.
- PC skills, Microsoft Word, Excel.
- Business / commercial / financial acumen.
- Strong communication and influencing skills
