Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This position is responsible for managing the overall and smooth operation of the factories including but not limited to production, labor and warehouse stock quality. The successful incumbent will manage a team and provide daily oversight for all operational requirements and staff including resolving any issues that arise within the team or with suppliers and/or customers.

The salary for this position is competitive based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience. The position offers a monthly salary of USD 2,500 net value. All local expenses like transport, bachelor’s accommodation, food, work permit, Airfare and other expenses will be on company account.

The candidate will also be provided with an air ticket to their home country after two years of service, after which the incumbent will be provided with an air ticket annually. This position is eligible for bonus, and bonus will be granted annually and calculated based on individual performance against individual goals as well as against overall performance of the organization.

Job Duties:
- Managing and overseeing overall operations of the factories including production, labor, warehouse stock quality
- Overseeing activities to ensure processes and procedures are understood and followed
- Keeping stock control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements
- Preparing costing and budgeting for the operations and drive cost cutting wherever relevant
- Managing the procurement process, buying as necessary and interacting with the field procurement officers on a daily basis
- Effectively managing the procurement officers as well as any other employees working under them
- Ensuring the responsible branch is running smoothly
- As required, negotiating overrates or service levels, preparing necessary documentation/reports and reviewing invoices and customs documents
- Resolving any issues that arise with suppliers, customers, government or employees
- Developing and maintaining a productive work team
- Collaborating with other operations managers and employees as required
- Meeting or exceeding established goals relative to on-time delivery and shipping accuracy performance for customer shipments
- Improving operational efficiencies to increase ability to process customer orders using both systems and physical improvements
- Providing direction for systems improvements and changes to operational requirements
- Other duties as required

Requirements

- A university degree or diploma (Business Management; or Logistics would be an asset)
- Must possess at least 5 years’ direct experience in an operational role
- Must possess excellent communication skills and computer literacy
- The candidate must possess some technical knowledge in operations

- Knowledge of managing Operations, and services in accordance with the company regulations
