Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This position is responsible for forecasting sales and executing trades in commodities and foreign exchange. The successful candidate will be required to find markets, predict trends in the market i.e. quality and price of the product as well as carry out successful transactions in the local and international market.

Overall Remuneration:
The salary for this position is competitive based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience. The position offers a monthly salary of USD, 3500. Transportation and bachelor’s accommodation is provided separately. Additionally, the successful incumbent will be provided with a local allowance equivalent to USD 300 for per month for food and other expenses.
The candidate will also be provided with an air ticket to their home country after two years of service, after which the incumbent will be provided with an air ticket annually. This position is bonus eligible, and bonus will be granted annually and calculated based on individual performance against individual goals as well as against overall performance of the organization.

Job Duties:
• Forecasting sales and trading
• Finding markets and predicting trends in the market by analyzing the local and international markets i.e. the price and quality of the products
• Mitigating the risks as well as foreseeing the future when conducting and determining sales
• Predicting the best time to buy and sell the products
• Conducting research on the clientele and the sellers to determine their credibility as well as their presence in the market
• Effective marketing of the products in international markets
• Mediating transactions between clients and the traders and brokers for successful sales
• Determining market sentiment via research, valuation and data analysis
• Providing key parties with daily trading information
• Informing sales staff about market movements and prices, and executing trades
• Based on the feasibility, informing the procurement team to purchase materials as per request, and exporting them to international markets
• Overseeing coordination of the contracts and proper documentation
• Other duties as required

Gross monthly base salary: USD 3500, plus local expenses $ 300 per month

Requirements

Qualifications:
• A university degree, preferably in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or any numerate subjects
• Must possess excellent analytical skills
• Must possess at least 5 years’ experience in any kind of trading/currency trading
• Experience in the banking industry is preferred
• The candidate must possess excellent communication and presentation skills
• International Trade Experience in considered an asset
