Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Working with all the latest technologies, Amaris’ IT department is a dynamic and driving force for the Group. It reflects the group values through its expertise and international organization.
As a Database Administrator, you will be part of the Architecture Department and you will be responsible for the performance, integrity and security of the database environment of the Amaris Group.
    - Being responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting performances of about 50 Microsoft SQL Servers
    - Automating & monitoring Backups
    - Troubleshooting & optimizing stored procedures and table schemas
    - Defining the best practices and train developers
    - Taking the leadership to operate on long term projects (like Full text search, High availability, migration to SQL Server 2016…)

Requirements

With a bachelor/master degree or engineer diploma in Computer Science, you already have a two-year experience in database administration, using Microsfot SQL Server. You are an organised and rigorous person, with a certain taste for quality in work. Young and dynamic, you want to blossom contributing to a company in full expansion. You are able to react quickly in front of problems and like to share your knowledge, your know-how and your point of view.
You have to master English in order to attend meetings with other development teams in Europe, help project managers, developers and database programmers to take the best decisions.
