Job description / Role
We have a challenging opportunity for a dam’s specialist to join the Hydropower department of an international consultancy.
This Dam is part of a mega project of 22 dams built for hydroelectric power production, flood control and water storage. When complete, the dam will support a 1,200 MW power station and will form a 10.4 billion m3 reservoir.
You will be responsible for leading and coordinate the Owner’s Engineer Consortium site supervision and design review team and advising the Owner on all matters concerning Contract administration and site supervision, application design, construction procedures etc.
Requirements
- Have 20 years relevant experience
- Hold a degree in civil engineering
- Previously hold a position as a site manager
- Have extensive knowledge / experience in Hydropower
- Strong skills in coordination of different professionals (civil, mechanical, electrical, administrative)
- Broad knowledge of Quality Assurance (QA/QC)
- Adaptability to cultural sensitivity environments
- Fluency in written and spoken English and good communication skills
