ACCOUNT DIRECTOR(with Agency experience) - Client Servicing

We are looking for an experienced and confident Senior Account Manager/Account Director to lead the client servicing and digital communications delivery team across a portfolio of Consumer Tech, FMCG and Retail brands. You will be responsible for building a strategic understanding of clients’ business, guiding development of strategy and inspiring the team to produce great work that meets clients’ needs. The job involves:

Strategy:

-Partner with internal agency teams to create innovative ways to impact business results for our clients, while ensuring that the plans are strategically sound & imaginative.
-Play a leadership role in helping clients solve marketing communications challenges whilst proactively identifying new opportunities to maximize client ROI.
-Identify and drive new opportunities, including new business pitches for the agency.
-Deeply understand brand insights, customer segmentation, and target needs to steer actionable creative briefs. Thus, leading to effective digital campaign conceptualization and presentation.
-Ensures profitable allocation of teams, while overseeing reporting and hourly reconciliations.

Relationships:

-Build strong, impenetrable relationships with the clients, while taking genuine interest in their business issues, industry, and competitors.
-Work towards in-depth understanding of the client's business issues and use the insights to help clients articulate their needs (For example: in the form of briefs/internal briefings).
-Command the room/communicate effectively and credibly in senior client executive meetings.

Leadership:

-Lead, mentor and inspire the account managers and executives reporting to you - guiding their development and career path through the agency by providing inspiring team training and thoughtful input on their career roadmaps.
-Recruit talent that raises the bar on creativity and quality.
-Allocates resources effectively, balancing client needs with profitability.

Delivery:

-Co-ordinate with suppliers and agency departments to ensure that deadlines are met, best-practices followed & client expectations are aligned.
-Meet with client atleast once a month to align on overall strategy, present work done & insights/research that can help the brand achieve digital marketing success.
-Oversee the creation of social media content and reporting for your portfolio, to ensure that nothing leaves the agency without your assurance, the work is outstanding and will exceed client expectations.
-Provides astute input on first round of creative on campaigns and helps sell creative work on major campaigns.
-Manage the financial health of account(s), including growth, profitability and delivery of forecasts, while understanding contractual relationships, and monitoring contract compliance.

BUDGET FOR THIS ROLE: 22K-25K
