Employment: Full Time

The role of the Account Manager is to manage an existing Account in the luxury hotel business.

The 3 Account locations are in some of the most desirable locations in the world and offer unrivaled luxury.

This is a very hands-on role which is supported by a General Manager.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop, organize, and implement strategic marketing activities for the respective Account
- Manage, establish and strengthen relationships with the travel trade in the GCC region.
- Conduct joint or individual sales calls to the travel trade, airlines and corporate throughout the GCC for each respective account on a monthly basis.
- Generate and simulate bookings and reservations (FIT and Groups) to the account by maintaining relations with travel trade and corporate segments.
- Organize and participate in workshops and road-shows throughout the GCC for each respective account
- Organize and participate in trade and consumer fairs throughout the GCC for each respective account.
- In conjunction with the respective destinations tourism authorities, develop and organise familiarization trips, press and media trips to the account for the local trade throughout the GCC.
- In conjunction with the respective destinations tourism authorities/hotel groups, develop and organise educational trips to the destinations/hotels for the local travel trade throughout the Middle East.
- Negotiate and monitor coverage for each respective account through the GCC from the trade publication and securing them to feature in their brochures
- Develop, organize and participate in joint promotional activities with the local travel trade and brands for each respective account
- Conduct account and product training to the travel trade throughout the middle east
- Conduct presentations to consumer groups
- Organise consumer events
- Monitor the allocated budget for each respective account
- Research and keep up to date with the latest trends within the travel industry, Dubai and the GCC, as well as the accounts competitors.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for management
- Liaise with the relevant tourism authorities to recommend new initiatives and obtain approvals
- Plan and attend a monthly conference call for account review
- Maintain professional conduct and strict confidentiality within client relations
- Maintain strictest confidentiality of all internal consultancy information.

Requirements

An ideal position for someone who is involved in the Travel Industry in the region currently and very well connected to the Travel Trade and Media.

The Account Manager needs to be self motivated, customer focused, target driven, innovative and have the ability to develop and drive new programmes and initiatives.

- Ability to handle numerous events and tasks simultaneously
- Computer literate and self sufficient
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details
- Ability to be creative and innovative
- Sales driven persona with an inherent desire to exceed sales targets.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Excellent presentation
- Confident in promoting the product and driving business
- Ability to network in the community
- Ability and flexibility to travel frequently throughout the Middle East. Principle locations are: Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait
