Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Scope: Accounting and business support for Middle East subsidiaries and branches.

Major Responsibilities are to:
- Review and record employee expense reports and vendor invoices, and ensure they are properly supported and approved prior to payment
- Prepare vendor payments for approval
- Record customer receipts and vendor payments
- Prepare monthly receivables, payables and bank reconciliations
- Review and reconcile intercompany balances on a monthly basis and follow up on any differences
- Calculate and record month-end accruals and prepayments
- Keep fixed asset records
- Closely support and provide back-up cover for Accounting Manager
- Assist regional and corporate management with other AD-HOC tasks as required

Requirements

- Bachelor’s university degree and internationally-recognized accounting qualification.
- At least three years accounting experience in a multinational organization. Audit experience strongly preferred.

The applicant must have a sound knowledge of accounting principles, including US GAAP and/or IFRS; excellent spoken and written English, ERP system experience and competency in Excel, IT industry knowledge a bonus.

An open, flexible, hands-on attitude to their work is also a prerequisite.
