Job description / Role
- Prepare financial statements, reports and records.
- Timely and accurate posting, balancing and reconciliation of the general ledger.
- Review and recording of Journal entries.
- Preparation of year to date cash flow.
- Financial reporting, monthly close, annual and semi-annual reporting.
- Perform various financial reports, budgets, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
- Special projects involving accounting research, technical accounting issues, and analysis of accounting systems.
- Maintain bank accounts, review bank statements.
- Preparation of work papers supporting the monthly close process and month end balances.
- Proper analytical review of asset operation from balance sheet, income statement and cash flow.
- Research and reconcile all discrepancies.
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and related footnotes.
Requirements
- Must be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant.
- Must have 2- 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Working knowledge of accounting software’s like Tally etc.
- Accuracy in daily work and meet schedules and deadlines.
- Good team player.
