Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a Real Estate company is currently looking for an Accountant to be based in Al Ain.

Job Purpose:

The candidate is responsible for managing the monetary assets of the Private Office in terms of collection, auditing and validating bank statements in forms of accounts payables and accounts receivables.

Job Responsibilities:

Accounting for Business Affairs
• Prepares, examines, or analyzes accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
• Maintains and examines the records companies financial activities
• Checks and audits the LPO’s against the actual receipt and invoices to ensure the accuracy of money amounts, dates and names
• Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
• Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
• Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Reporting and Analysis
• Establishes tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts on the ERP system
• Prints the coversheet of details and signs in before sending it to the finance manager
• Develops, maintains, and analyzes budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs
• Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements.

Systems and Revenue Management
• Reviews tenant contract issued by the real estate department to ensure the validity and accuracy of its details
• Posts the process on the ERP system
• Prints and documents transaction from the ERP with Bank slips to be placed in its respective file for records keeping

Banking and Cash
• Receives payment from tenants and to issue receipt of payment and be a point of contact in case of any such financial concerns
• Fills up deposit slip for checks/cash then personally deliver to bank or gives them to the PRO to deposit in its respective bank account

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science2 years of experience in accounting specializing in a/c receivables or a/c payables OR
• 1-2 years of experience in a business support position in Accounting
• Experience in Revenue Management, Financial Accounting, Economics & Accounting

Professional Certificates
• IC3
• SAP ERP or any other Enterprise Resource Planning program (preferred)
• CPA (preferred)
• CMA (preferred)
