Job description / Role

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conducts month-end and year-end close process by completing technical accounting process, ensuring adequate reconciliations.
• Prepares monthly schedules for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, capitalization, bank recons and any other journals as necessary.
• Prepares complete and accurate monthly Revenue recognition schedules including deferred revenue schedules and calculations and straight-lining adjustments.
• Maintains project-wise movement schedules, payment schedules. contracts, bank guarantees and/or security cheques.
• Reviews project related and other invoices received and prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements in an efficient and timely manner.
• Prepares journal entries and completes monthly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Maintains monthly loan Interest schedules with Banks and related parties.
• Management of the VAT cycle for the group’s entities, and filing of the VAT returns.
• Handle queries from customers, suppliers and other departments.
• Assist Finance Manager with preparation and analysis of management reporting, forecasts, KPI measures, cash forecasts, budgets and long-term plans.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working in diverse teams; real estate environment experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounts & Finance
• Chartered Certified Accountant qualification (ACCA)
• Advanced knowledge of ERP system (SAP Business One is preferred)
• Knowledge of IFRSs and a good understanding accounting concepts
