Accountant (Financial & Management Accounting)

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This is a newly created position, reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

Main responsibilities:
- Month end accounting
- Preparation of budget and monthly MIS and variance analysis with budget
- Day to day accounting and ensuring proper maintenance of books of records and proper information system
- Verification of Supporting for all expense statement, invoices etc and preparing payment documents and liaison with bank to ensure timely payment
- Preparing the bank reconciliation and fund position statement on daily and monthly basis
- Ensuring the timely audit
- Liaison with bank to ensure smooth functioning of banking transactions
- Bank reconciliations
- Any other work allotted from time to time related to quarterly and yearly closing/ finance and accounting activity

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Finance as a minimum, ideally professional Accounting qualification
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in a reputable company ideally trading or distribution
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis
- Able to finalize the accounts without supervision
- Able to work autonomously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent Computer skills
