Accountant for a High End Restaurant

Job description / Role

Accountant up to 6k AED for a High End Restaurant in Dubai

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department such as month and year end process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliation and trust account statement reconciliations
- Performs accounting for all the kitchens, reconciles sales, inventories, and commissions of ERP with accounting software
- Maintains the accounts payable vendor system and enters new vendors into the system
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports/ statements
- Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts, such as inventories, pre-paid deposits, sub-tenant receivables; reconciles subsystem with General Ledger
- Manage all purchasing and liaising with operation manager
- Manage cash balances and cash forecasts to meet the company's needs
- Monthly Reports, Financial statements, Cash Flow projections, special analysis, and information reports, for management
- Ensure Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place
- Ensure that the record-keeping meets IFRS regulations and FTA guidelines
- Timely delivery of ad hoc analysis to meet stakeholder requests. Essential characteristics
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations

Requirements

- POSITION: ACCOUNTANT
- SALARY: up to 6,000 AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications
- HIRING COMPANY: High-End Restaurant
- WORK LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
- AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (preferably candidates on a Tourist Visa)
- EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Preferably FILIPINO or INDIAN candidates
- Male or Female, below 35 years old

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Commerce/any related course is preferred
- Minimum 3 years of accounts management experience within the Restaurant,
- F&B, Hospitality industry
- Proficient user of finance/accounting software
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning and organization, and analytical skills
- With initiative and a team player
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
