Job description / Role
Accountant Up To 20k Aed for a Leading Stock Exchange Company in Abu Dhabi
• Follow up the audit points closing implementation
• New Reconciliation required by COSO
• Prepare the quarterly and annual reports on form and manage the internal and external review for these documents
• Monitor and ensure timely identification and compliance with evolving accounting guidance, provide interpretation and prepare technical memorandums that document issues in a clear, logical and comprehensive manner
• Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management team
• Manage communications with external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues to ensure auditor agreement with company decisions on accounting disclosures, and issues
• Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements
• Perform continuous assessment of the close process and process re-engineering to reduce the timing to close the financial period
• Support month end and year end closing
Requirements
• POSITION: ACCOUNTANT
• SALARY: up to 20,000 AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications
• HIRING COMPANY: Leading Stock Exchange
• WORK LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, UAE
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritized (1-month max)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Contractual/Outsource
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to any nationality
• Male/Female, 40 years old and below
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance and Banking/ Business Administration/Business Management or any relevant course
• Has 8 years of experience in the same role
• CIMA Certified or any other financial/accounting certification is preferred
• Has excellent communication, organization, time-management skills
