Job description / Role
- Assist with the management of the accounting function for the holding, intermediary and Dubai based companies of the organization
- Accountable for timely financial reporting, balance sheet reviews and variance analysis
- Assist with the design and optimization of the accounting and financial processes for all entities
- Contribute to the animation of the accounting part of the procurement process work-flow to ensure timely payment of suppliers
- Assisting with consolidation process and SAP system deployment
- Support IFRS reporting improvement
- Assist in designing and deploying yearly and quarterly group consolidations
- Assisting on ad-hoc projects
- Assist in designing, deploying and enforcing internal controls; writing policies and procedures
- Contribute to the transfer pricing policies optimization
Requirements
- 3-6 years’ work experience in a similar role
- Advanced working knowledge of ERP systems – SAGE Accpac a plus
- Knowledge of SAP BFC (Magnitude) and IBM Cognos a plus
- Advanced knowledge of IFRS, OHADA, and UK GAAP
- Advanced Excel and Power Point skills
- Analytical Skills including Ratio Analysis
- Experience of working in a group role is essential
- Proven experience in dealing efficiently with electronic communication and remote team members
- Career to date must be in well-known MNCs
- Willingness to travel to Africa
- Fluency in French and English
