Accountant - MIS - Al Futtaim Automotive Finance - UAE

Due to our rapid growth and future expansion plans, we are building our talent pool for Accountant – MIS who are performance driven, to work for our automotive team across the UAE.

As a member of Al-Futtaim Automotive Finance, you will be responsible to support the Department General Manager on delivering robust, timely and accurate Financial planning and reviews, provide Commercial and analytical support ensuring accounting and financial records are accurate and support the external audit, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures with major emphasis on Five Year Plan / Budget / Quarterly Reviews, Profit Forecasts / Daily / Weekly Operating controls, Monthly Management Reporting and Reviews, Divisional KPI and Cost analysis, Monthly Closing and GL Reviews.

Job holder is required to constantly interact with Business Finance, General Manager's and Auto finance leadership. The position also interface with other Al-Futtaim Finance Shared Service functions in ensuring quality monthly financials. The jobholder understands the front-end process and interface with financial and information databases to ensure accuracy.

Having a good understanding of systems (SAP and Policy / Procedures) is crucial both for determining applicability and relevance as well as for designing verification procedures and processes that are meant to highlight exceptions.

This vacancy is specifically looking after all the future/upcoming Accountant – MIS roles across the UAE, covering all automotive brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Hino, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Volvo, Ram, Automall and Al Futtaim Auto Centre (ALAC).

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Degree in Accounting /Professional accounting qualification is preferred, ideally in an automotive dealership with relevant experience within a large organization. With strong Analytical, process oriented, good communication and presentation skills, well organized, able to work simultaneously on multiple priorities, has the ability to think clearly and lucidly when under pressure with tight deadlines.

Apart from your previous experience you must have extensive knowledge of ERP systems, MS Office -Excel Skills, good attention to details and knowledge of SAP would be a strong advantage.

To be successful, you must be commercially aware and knowledgeable of the industry with relevant experience within a large organization in a supervisory level. You should be able to plan and priorities workload with minimum supervisory input, persuasive skills, self-starter, self-motivated; a strong team player able to solve problems and resolve issues in an amicable manner, be able to anticipates emerging trends and issues in the books of account and initiate appropriate action. Having the ability to build and sustain relationships in a multicultural environment and able to communicate to all levels of the organization.
