Accountant - Sales Control - Al Futtaim Automotive Finance Shared Service - UAE

Al-Futtaim is regarded as a pioneer in the regions automotive industry. The company imported the first consignment of Toyota vehicles to the UAE and established Al-Futtaim Motors in 1955.

Al-Futtaim represents 44 automotive brands across 16 countries and encompasses every aspect of the business:
- Passenger and commercial vehicles sales
- Manufacturing agricultural vehicles
- Construction equipment sales and service
- Used car sales
- Rental and leasing

Due to our rapid growth and future expansion plans, we are building our talent pool for Accountant Sales Control who are performance driven, to work for our automotive team across UAE.

As a member of Al-Futtaim Finance Shared Service (AFSS), you will be responsible to support the operations (Sales and After sales) by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures with major emphasis on - cash control, sales accounting documentation, stock controls, Branch audit report compliance, day to day internal controls review and process improvements in Showrooms and Service Centres.

Job holder is required to interact with General Manager/Finance Manager/Accounts Manager within AFSS; Location Managers and Divisional Heads. A good understanding of systems (both SAP and Policy / Procedures) is crucial both for determining applicability and relevance as well as for designing verification procedures and processes that are meant to highlight exceptions. It is essential that the job holder is a subject matter expert and has excellent presentation skill.

This vacancy is specifically looking after all the future/upcoming Accountant - Sales Control roles across UAE, covering all automotive brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Hino, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Volvo, Ram, Automall and Al Futtaim Auto Centre (ALAC).

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Degree in Accounting /Professional accounting qualification is preferred, ideally within an automotive dealership having good accounting knowledge, strong analytical and reporting background, handles conflict, trouble shooting, is able to work simultaneously on multiple priorities and, has the ability to think clearly and lucidly when under pressure with tight deadlines.

Apart from your previous experience you must have extensive knowledge of ERP systems, MS Office -Excel skills, good attention to details and knowledge of SAP would be a strong advantage.

To be successful, you must be commercially aware and knowledgeable of the industry with relevant experience within a large organization in a supervisory level. You should be able to plan and priorities workload with minimum supervisory input, persuasive skills, kaizen attitude, self-starter, self-motivated; a strong team player able to solve problems and resolve issues in an amicable manner, be able to anticipates emerging trends and issues in the books of account and initiate appropriate action. Having the ability to build and sustain relationships in a multicultural environment and able to communicate to all levels of the organization.
