Job description / Role
Due to our rapid growth and future expansion plans, we are building our talent pool for Accountant Treasury who are performance driven to work within our Automotive Finance team across the UAE.
As a member of Al-Futtaim Finance Shared Service (AFSS), you will be responsible to support the Automotive Business Units on preparation of Actual & forecast Cash flow, ensuring day to day fund management, accounting controls, ensuring day to day operating and any other relevant metrics.
The job holder is required to interact with Accounts Manager/Finance Manager - AFSS; Location Managers and Divisional Heads with a good understanding of systems (SAP and Policy / Procedures) is required. The position provides Banking / hedging and supply chain support to Automotive business entities. The jobholder constantly will have to co-ordinates with Banks, Group Treasury, business and Marketing teams carrying out reviews, analysis and validation.
This vacancy is specifically looking after all the future/upcoming Accountant Treasury roles across the UAE, covering all automotive brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Hino, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Volvo, Ram, Automall and Al Futtaim Auto Centre (ALAC).
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Degree in Accounting /Professional qualification is preferred, ideally within an automotive dealership in sales having good Accounting knowledge, strong analytical background, process oriented, well organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Apart from your previous experience you must have extensive knowledge of ERP systems, MS Office with strong Excel skills, good attention to details and knowledge of SAP would be a strong advantage.
To be successful, you must be commercially aware and knowledgeable of the industry and must have good knowledge of excel and have prior experience working in a large organisation. You should be able to plan and priorities workload with minimum supervisory input, persuasive skills, kaizen attitude, self-motivated; a strong team player able to solve problems and resolve issues in an amicable manner, be able to anticipates emerging trends and issues in the books of account and initiate appropriate action.
