Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Manage accounting functions:
• Assist in financial record-keeping, process invoices and payments, reconcile accounts, and support financial reporting activities.

Coordinate logistics operations:
• Facilitate supply chain activities, monitor inventory levels, coordinate shipments, and ensure smooth transportation logistics.

Ensure compliance:
• Adhere to relevant accounting regulations and compliance requirements. Stay updated on Jafza Rules and implement necessary procedures accordingly.

Maintain accurate documentation:
• Maintain organized records of financial transactions, logistics documentation, and other relevant information.

Collaborate with internal teams:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication regarding financial and logistics matters.

Provide support in reporting:
• Assist in generating reports, analyzing data, and providing insights on accounting and logistics performance.

Continuous improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements, propose solutions, and contribute to overall operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in either Accounting or Logistics.
Proficiency in accounting:
• The candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations is essential.

Intermediate level proficiency in logistics:
• Knowledge of logistics operations, including supply chain management, inventory control, and transportation, is required.
• Familiarity with Jafza Rules (Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority) would be considered a plus.

Mandatory possession of a valid UAE driving license:
• The candidate must hold a valid UAE driving license to facilitate transportation and coordination tasks effectively.

Preferred immediate availability:
• We are looking for candidates who are available to join our team at the earliest convenience.

Strong organizational skills:
• The candidate should possess excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.

Good communication skills:
• Effective communication is vital in this role.
• The candidate must be able to liaise with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders professionally and clearly.

Proficient in software such as NetSuite and Excel:
• Proficiency in utilizing financial and logistics software is required.
• Experience with NetSuite and Excel is highly desirable.
