Accounting Assistant

Job description / Role

A multinational company is looking for an Arabic accounting assistant to based in Dubai, reporting to the Regional Finance manager.

The ideal candidate should be a female, having minimum two years of experience, and is willing to travel within the region.

Arabic speaking language is a must to handle books and records

- Prepare reconciliation's, journal entries and pay bills.
- Maintain accounting records.
- Assist in audit process.
- Pay company bills on a weekly basis and ensure proper coding of invoices.
- Support to prepare, pay and reconcile taxes reports.
- Support to supervise and approve the expenses report sent by SEL employees.
- Prepare accountant reports as is required.
- Assist Accountant with special projects.
- Follow and improve Accounting Department processes.
- Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes

Requirements

- B.S./B.A. degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum two years in General Accounting experience.
- Strong skills in double-entry accounting, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Strong computer and database expertise.
- Motivated and self-directed.
- Bilingual preferred
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL
