POSCO GSFC LLC is a subsidiary of POSCO, Korea. In 2008, POS-GSFC was incorporated to promote investment in steel, considering the rise for of demand for steel in GCC and MENA. POS-GSFC is strategically located in Al Ghail Industrial Park, Ras Al Khaimah with easy access to GCC & MENA nations through UAE’s strategic ports (Jebel Ali & Fujairah).
Responsible for billing activities, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable and other accounting related matters.
Job Responsibilities:
- Process month and end year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, trust account statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Coordinate and complete annual audits- Provide recommendations- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Requirements
- Must be a Korean National
- Knowledge in Accounting
- Computer Literate- Must be willing to work long hours, holidays, and rest days
- Can work under pressure
- Keen to details
- Goal and time oriented
- Language: Korean(Mother tongue), English(Advnaced)
- Work experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in the same position
- Educational Preference: None

- Certificate & License: Driving License is an advantage
