Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose:
- To support Accounts receivable function of the finance department with processing of invoices, debtor reconciliation, KPI reporting and customer service.
- Additionally maybe required to support other areas in business to manage cash payments from trips, shop and other adhoc activities going on around the business

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing high volume of customer invoices in timely and accurate manner
- Accounts receivable reconciliation and investigation of discrepancy
- Debtor reporting and credit control to maintain minimal debtor balances
- Provide premium level customer service to maintain excellent relationship with parents and other stakeholders of the school
- Assist in Month end processing to include Bank, Stock and Balance Sheet reconciliation
- Ad hoc reports when required
- At times support the accounts payable team to process vendor invoices, petty cash, employee expenses
- Maintain and adhere to corporate governance and compliance in order to safeguard assets of the business

Requirements

- Experience with Sage 200 or similar finance software is essential
- ISAMS Education system experience advantageous
- Two Years’ experience in similar role essential
- Ability to wok under pressure essential
- Intermediate to advance in Excel essential
- Diploma/degree in accounting advantageous
