Accounts Receivable Supervisor

Job description / Role

We’re recruiting for a FMCG business in Dubai. This role reports to the AR Manager.

• New Customer review (Assignment of credit limit / payment terms negotiation etc.)
• Cashflow projection
• VAT Compliance
• AR process improvement
• Customer account reconciliation monitoring
• Supervision of 3 Credit Controllers
• Support credit control / sales team to resolve any disputes
• Follow up for the payments for overdue / problematic customers
• Customer relationship & visits when needed
• Monthly meeting with sales manager to review overdue customers
• Quarterly submitting sales report to insurance
• Monthly Receivable MIS (Overdue / DSO)
• Monthly calculation of Bad debt provision.

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 16,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Min 5 yrs experience in pure Accounts Receivable (or a General Accounting role with a focus on AR)
• Preference for someone in the FMCG industry
• A hands-on approach
• Previous supervisory experience is required
• A problem solver, with a can-do attitude
• Able to analyse current procedures and advise on improvements
• SAP or Oracle experience is essential
