Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Black Pearl has received an amazing opportunity for an Actuarial position with a global company based in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

- Use statistical models to analyze data and calculate the probability of and costs associated with certain events estimate the likelihood of catastrophic events.
- Assess the risk exposure of insurance companies and support the business in lowering their insurance premiums by reducing their risk exposure.
- Perform data analysis and statistical modeling to present findings to senior management.

Key Accountabilities will include:

- Compiling Actuarial Data
- Conduct Data Analysis
- Prepare Reports and Projections
- Present Findings to Management
- Consultation of stakeholders

Requirements

In order for you to be considered for this opportunity, please make sure that you meet the following criteria:

- At least 5 years of experience in a corporate or a multinational environment.
- Expert in Statistical Modelling, Mathematical Analysis, Data Literacy, Financial Forecasting.
- Bachelors degree in statistics or related field
- Certifications like SOA or CAS
- Masters in Statistics (Desirable)
- Must be a good communicator and presenter.
