Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are currently working on behalf of our client who are one of the largest group companies here in the UAE. They are seeking an experienced Admissions Manager to manage one of their guest service teams in one of their unique leisure offerings.

The purpose of the Admissions Manager is to drive the performance of the ticketing team to meet all commercial and service related goals. This will include top and bottom line financial responsibility as per the set objectives.

The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Manage the guest service team during daily operations, this will include the information desk, ticket counters and call centre
- Drive strategic best practice in ticketing to ensure all processes and systems deliver excellence
- Promote the highest level of customer service throughout the team
- Produce relevant management reports to help the business understand it’s commercial position regarding sales
- Fully understand and utilise all aspects of the POS software to enable the ticketing team to carry out effective up-selling. You will be responsible for the input and update of this information
- Keep the team up to date with all new promotions, discounts and offers
- Conduct regular meetings with the sales team to review sales and up-selling opportunities as well as to inform staff of any problem areas and to seek solutions
- Maintain accurate weekly records and report on business activities
- Conduct performance evaluations.

Requirements

- Be a college graduate
- Have proven Admissions Management experience supporting a large team
- Have a minimum of 4 years working experience within this field
- Be an expert in ticketing systems
- Have strong commercial awareness
- Be fluent in English – Arabic would be an advantage
- Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Be a good communicator with good inter personal skills
- Be flexible to do shift work, 5 days per week.
