Job description / Role
We’re looking for an After Sales Representative for a leading distributor of heavy equipment servicing construction and mining projects across Africa.
The role will be to handle both internal and external customers to promote the profitable sales of products and services to ensure the maximum machine life and reliability. You’ll be responsible for promoting proactive maintenance practices and incorporate these with effective parts and service measures.
Requirements
To be considered for this role you will have relevant experience working within an aftersales role for a heavy equipment organisation. Ideally this will be for either construction or mining equipment. Experience from within Africa or dealing with clients based across the African continent will be desirable.
You will be an Engineer by trade and have a sound technical understanding of products and their application to suit various project demands, but you will also be commercially competent and be able to promote profitability across the department.
We’re looking for someone passionate about what they do. Having the ability to spot opportunities to introduce new product lines or service measures that benefit customers and increase revenue is something that will be key in this role
