Employment: Full Time

The senior analyst/ analyst is a key part of the team.

Reporting to the head of Special Projects, the senior analyst will be responsible for delivering the following in an independent and self-motivated manner:

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changes
• Suggest improvements to senior management on internal people, process, and technology supported by benchmarking research and analytics. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes
• Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
• Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time issues
• Help define project requirements by identifying milestones, phases and activities, and budget
• Monitor project progress by tracking activities, resolving issues, and managing risks
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams
• Develop financial models for new commercial products or services
• Conduct financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business justifications both internally and externally
• Plan and execute assigned business projects for internal and external clients
• Gather information about clients through a variety of methods (shadowing, interviews, surveys, reading reports etc.) in order to conduct thorough current state assessments
• Analyze and interpret data to distill insights and identify root causes
• Develop future state recommendations and solutions with attention to a client’s needs and capabilities
• Present findings and suggestions to management with ample justification and practical advice
• Develop detailed business plans to drive small or radical changes
• Proactively identify, research, and present ideas for new business opportunities

Requirements

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Comfortable manipulating and analyzing large data sets in Excel, Tableau, Power BI
• Able to distill insights and present information in Powerpoint
• Good presentation skills
• Strategic thinking, highly organized self-starting mentality
• Able to creatively perform primary and secondary research
• Able to structure large amounts of information with a view of the target audience
• Able to meet tight deadlines calmly and professionally
• Results-oriented with strong strategic planning skills
• High level of personal and professional integrity, trustworthiness, strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
• Can-do attitude
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; acts as a trusted advisor and maintains focus in demanding situations
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English, with sharp attention to detail
