Employment: Full Time

Our client is a US Global Top Tier Law Firm who is looking for a top notch legal secretary to join the firm. They are looking for a Arabic Legal Secretary to work in their Abu Dhabi office to provide secretarial and administrative support to a number of fee earners.

- Using strong organisational skills to ensure that legal advisers have all the information they require.
- Comprehensive and proactive diary and travel management, anticipating future demands of team members and actions required. Manage critical diary dates.
- Organising and planning meetings, to include coordinating agendas and papers for internal and external meetings, booking travel and arranging for necessary equipment and refreshments.
- General administration (including room bookings, expenses, responding to central and Practice Group initiatives/requests).
- Documents and correspondence - producing high quality documents and ensuring files are maintained. Translating English-Arabic-English
- Pro-active and appropriate use of Outsourced Document Production teams, taking responsibility for collating correspondence and enclosures, Providing feedback where appropriate to Office Manager.
- Urgent/confidential work delivered to a high standard. (Dictation, manuscript, copy typing and production of pitches and tenders).
- Pro actively manage new client file, matter openings, conflict searches and billing.
- Client and Business Development support - contributing to the development of the business and delivering excellent service to our clients.
- Support legal advisers with marketing and Business Development related activity, including meet & greets.
- Work with legal advisers to update contact database lists

Requirements

Previous secretarial and administration experience is an advantage. Ideally, you will have gained some of this in an office environment.

You will have a reasonable level of experience having already experience in a secretarial position, with audio/copy typing speed of 60 wpm and a high level of accuracy. Ideally RSA level II, you will have a sound knowledge of PC applications such as Microsoft Outlook, XP/Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

You will have good time management and communication skills and be a good team player. You will want to work as part of a large busy team, be able to adapt well to frequently changing priorities and manage multiple tasks successfully when working under pressure whilst maintaining quality. You should also be proactively supportive of others during busy periods.

Good communication skills and a committed, flexible approach to delivering a high quality service to internal and external clients are key.
