Architect (Construction Industry)

Job description / Role

Salary: 10,000 to 15,000 AED

One of our reputed clients, which was established in 1975 to provide the Gulf countries with a high quality service in the civil construction industry. Since then, they have built a reputation which is synonymous with quality efficiency and speed.

Our client has grown in size in terms of manpower and machine power since its conception to a company that currently employs over 7000 employees and a large support and operations team. Due to their growing presence in the market they are looking to hire an Architect.

This position will be responsible in supporting all Architectural and Structural design projects of the company.

Job Description:
- The Candidate shall be experienced in all aspects of Architectural or Structural design and general architectural and structural practices including planning, programming, schematic design, production of construction documents (drawings and specifications), and able to support architects and engineers with little supervision.
- Must be willing to work in a design team environment, be client oriented, have good organizational skills, outstanding work ethics, and have good management skills.
- Ensures internal communication and coordination of efforts occurs.
- Coordinate all support activities required to complete all design efforts and quality assurance processes.
- Work with other disciplines to ensure accuracy of the package, meet schedule, and budget commitments and meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
- Will work closely with Corporate CAD/BIM Manager to establish and promote CAD standards throughout project.
- Acts as mentor and trainer for Revit and AutoCAD.

Requirements

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Architecture
- 3-5 years in the UAE
- Designer should be familiar with military CAD/BIM standards, including UFCs.
- Designer must be proficient in Revit 2015 (BIM) and AutoCAD 2015.
- Previous experience with training and mentoring others is a plus.
