Position Overview:
Jouzy Consulting Engineers is seeking a talented Project Manager (Architect) to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing and coordinating the architectural and interior design development for major projects in Abu Dhabi, and overseeing their implementation.

Responsibilities:
• Monitor the quality and progress of the architectural discipline on projects, ensuring compliance with production requirements.
• Work closely with Project Managers to address any issues related to staffing, work quality, schedule performance, or productivity in the architectural discipline.
• Establish and maintain standards and procedures manuals for the discipline, recommending procedural improvements as necessary.
• Ensure discipline performance within authorized overhead budgets.
• Actively participate in and promote the Quality Improvement Program, potentially leading a committee within the discipline.
• Manage the development of detailed designs for buildings and interior designs, coordinating with the client and approval authorities.
• Review technical submittals related to architectural works and negotiate changes in scope with key contractors and subcontractors.
• Follow up on project-related instructions and commitments, and participate in negotiations with regulatory agencies in support of clients.
• Work with other managers to develop project budgets, schedules, and plans, and execute action plans for cost overruns or significant scope changes.
• Apply Quality Assurance processes and report project progress, including milestones and any conditions affecting project cost or schedule.
• Establish regular meetings to review project status and develop action items.

Requirements

Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or equivalent).
• Typically, 10+ years of related experience, including supervisory/managerial experience.
• Professional registration in architecture.
• Strong ability to develop and enhance design proposals, effectively communicating a vision for implementation to clients and approval authorities.
• Managerial and coordination skills for design development and implementation.
• Extensive knowledge of local requirements and regulations pertaining to buildings and civil works in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
