Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a well-known branded gallery group. Our client is looking to hire an Area Manager to join their team.
As the Area Manager you will oversee the smooth running of the company’s 8 retail stores across the UAE. You will report to the Retail Operations Manager and will lead a team of Gallery Managers. In addition, you will be responsible for training the store teams and ensuring visual merchandising is reflective of the brand standards. You will be responsible for stock control and driving the business forward in terms of sales. You will also have involvement in the recruitment and development of store staff.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have experience in an Area Manager role with a retail background. It is essential you have the ability to work towards a sales target and ideally you should have an interest / appreciation for art. Our client has stated a preference for a western educated candidate.
