Area Sales Manager - Bio Aeration

Our Clients’ regional office is recognized as a dynamic, fast growing Emerging Market; comprising twenty four countries and headquarters in Dubai. They are part of a multinational company; an engineering technology and solutions company, responsible for developing, marketing and selling products, applications and solutions across the water, waste water industries; from Transport, Treatment, Dewatering, Aftermarket & Service and Building Water Solutions for MENA clients, consultants and contractors. Their mission is to drive sustainable and profitable growth in the served markets by executing a global strategy at a regional level for sales, marketing and support structures.

As part of the growth strategy, our clients’ Dubai office - Talent2 are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to manage the bioareation sales lead for the UAE.

The Area Sales Managers (ASM) duties consist of, but are not limited to, the identification and pursual of order and sales opportunities for the Biological Treatment Solutions in MENA region or geographical part of the region as defined by the Regional Sales Manager. The key job objective is to drive and grow Biological/Aeration and Sludge Pumps Orders and Sales in the region and include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

- Identify projects planned, being tendered or awarded.
- Participate in techno-commercial sales and bid support calls to Contractors, Consulting engineers and Government authorities that participate in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals incorporating diffused aeration and mixing products and in-house biological processes such as ICEAS, BIOLOOP following the necessary training.
- Prepare preliminary technical presentations to Consulting engineers, Contractors and government agencies.
- Identify local sources of supply / fabrication of equipment complimentary to the equipment such as stainless steel pipe-work, valves, controls etc, Interact with engineers, contractors and government officials on specific projects.
- Site visits of existing systems when required to gather appropriate data.

Requirements

- An engineering degree in mechanical, chemical or civil engineering
- At least 5 years sales/application experience in the wastewater treatment sector.
- Good knowledge of W&WW treatment technologies, equipment, design and application.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Have excellent communication skills
- Experience from working in an international corporation environment is an advantage
- Fluent in English. Arabic is an advantage.

KEY COMPETENCIES
An in-depth knowledge of the GCC water and wastewater market in general and the UAE market in particular is highly desirable. Experience from doing business and a good understanding of the business and social culture in the GCC is required.
