Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with an international law firm who is looking to a hire an Asset / Ship Finance Solicitor with c. NQ - 1 PQE + to play a key role in its high profile and well established Dubai practice.

The role will involve covering the mix of asset financing work, with an emphasis on ship and fleet financing work. The position will be to work closely with the lead Partner, broader team and with clients, in relation to projects in the UAE and the broader Middle East and Africa. The firm acts for a range of clients from banks, owners, lessors and lessees in relation ship building, financing and delivery work, along with a range of other work as required.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a Common law qualified Lawyer with ship finance experience, gained during a training contract or post qualification. Individuals based either in the UAE with a leading international law firm, or interested in relocating from the UK, Australia or New Zealand etc. are also of interest. The firm is interested in a high calibre individual who will be able and comfortable working as part of small high calibre team. High quality asset finance Lawyers, looking to specialise in ship finance work are also welcome for consideration. Excellent tax free rates of remuneration on offer to attract a high calibre Associate.
