Assistant Accountant - Global Law Firm

Job description / Role

Our client is among the top five ranked global law firms in the Middle East, with an extensive blue chip client base and a progressive approach.

There is an opportunity in the Dubai office for an Assistant Accountant to join the firm on a 12 month fixed term contract.

- Reporting to the Regional Financial Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include;
- Maintaining prepayments and posting month-end journals;
- Processing, checking and entering reconciliations, invoices, payments and disbursements;
- Analysis of client balances;
- Ad-hoc administration.

Requirements

- Previous experience of working in a similar role within a global law firm;
- High level communication skills in English;
- Excellent attention to detail and focus;
- Previous experience using ELITE Accounting Software;
- A mature and calm working approach.
