Job description / Role
Reports to:
Regional Brand Manager
The person in this position will be focused on establishing our brands and support the team in further expanding our successful business in the Middle East & Africa region. The person will assist the Regional Brand Manager in above the line and below the line activities, as well as strategic analysis of the markets and identification of new opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Adaptation and development of existing marketing concepts and strategies for regional markets.
- Monitoring of markets, segments and products on the basis of internal and external market research data and considering consumer, shopper and retail insights.
- Coordination and implementation of ATL and BTL marketing activities in regional markets.
- Budget planning and controlling as well as project-based calculation and cost-controlling.
- Transfer brand positioning in briefs to creative agencies and media agencies.
- Development and implementation of consumer promotions in co-operation with sales team local agencies.
- Creation of presentations, supporting material and reports for Regional Brand Manager / sales team.
- Track competitor activities & assist in maintaining competitor database.
- Close cooperation with International Head Office in Berlin/Germany and the Regional Sales Managers in MEA.
Requirements
- University degree in marketing or business related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in the management of an international brand (preferably FMCG).
- Regional or international exposure would definitely be a “plus”.
- Good command of English and Arabic (spoken and written).
- German would be advantageous.
- Strong, analytical and conceptual skills, but also likes to drive operational processes, able to work independently.
- Competent user of standard MS office.
- Communicative, creative, open-minded and enthusiastic.
- Will be based in Dubai, but must be willing to travel in the region.
Salary range: 12,000 - 15,000 AED per cm
