Job description / Role
Assistant Chef (Catering Service) Up To 4.4k Aed+ For A 5-Star Hotel In Dubai
- Brief the banquet kitchen staff daily about the upcoming and current functions
- Supervises and coordinates all activities of cooks and banquet kitchen staff who are engaged in food preparation
- Assist the Executive Chef in banquet menu development and execution
- Maintain inventory control procedures and ensure that the banquet kitchen is prepared for the following day's work
- Responsible to oversee the regular cleaning of all equipment used in the banquet kitchen
- Ensure that all staff prepares menu items following recipes in accordance with the hotels operating standards
- Communicate the kitchen needs with the purchasing and storeroom personnel
Requirements
- POSITION: ASSISTANT CHEF
- SALARY: up to 4,400 AED plus single accommodation depending on experience and qualifications
- HIRING COMPANY: 5-Star Hotel in Dubai
- WORK LOCATION: Dubai, UAE
- AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritized (1-month max)
- EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent/Full time
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Open to any nationality
- Male/Female, 35 years below
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Degree/certification/training in culinary/hospitality management is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years progressive experience as a Catering Chef or CDP
- Catering experience is a must
- Proven effective supervisory skills, knowledge of food preparation, food costing and quality control procedures
- Prior work experience in a high-volume production setting with experience in off-site catering, and kitchen management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
