Job description / Role
- Assist in overseeing & administering all Human Resources functions.
- Assist in recruitments, interview, training and development, developing compensation structure, statutory compliance, people relations, contract compliance, performance evaluations, setting up employment processes, leadership guidance and support.
- Manage and supervise the daily activities of the Human Resources department.
- Manage the team member relations program to include, but not limited to, picnics, holiday parties, health fairs, team member communications, special promotions, etc.
- Oversee functions of the HR management system.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to the Human Resources function.
- Act in the absence of the Director.
Requirements
- Master's degree in public administration or business administration
- Human Resources certification such as SPHR, PHR, or SHRM-CP; SHRM or local SHRM affiliate membership.
- The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, HR generalist experience, strong computer skills, exhibit strong leadership skills, and have supervisory experience in a human resources department.
- The candidate must have experience working with recruitment, compensation, employee relations, retention, policies, benefits administration, succession planning and diversity initiatives.
- The candidate must be detail oriented and have a successful track record of program development and project management.
