Job Description
- Deputize for the Dean of Libraries and support the work of the UAEU Libraries through the development of external partnerships and consortia.
- Provide leadership and management of a multidisciplinary team responsible for administration, finance and library development projects including organizational change and strategic and space planning.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification
- Master of Library Science or equivalent recognized by ALA.
- This may be a Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline and extensive leadership experience in a research library setting (e.g. university library service - director or manager)

Preferred Qualification
- Master of Library Science or equivalent recognized by ALA.

Expected Skills/Rank/Experience
- At least 5 years' recent experience in a leadership role working with libraries, or museums, galleries.
- Experience developing partnerships in the GLAM sector (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums)
- Fluent in written and spoken Arabic and English
