Job description / Role
Our client an industrial trading company are looking for a professional and driven Assistant Finance Manager to join their team in Dubai.
Reporting to the Finance Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure monthly closing is accurate and on time
- Recommend improvements
- Test controls, policies and procedures
- Mitigate risks within the company
- Assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of budgets
- Get involved in Finance Improvement projects
- Ensure payments are released as per agreed payment terms
- Oversee Treasury operations
- Maintain relationships with the banks and daily cash balances
- Manage Cash flow for the business
- General accounting maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Finance and Accounting role
- Recognized Accounting qualification - ACCA, CA, CPA etc.
- Knowledge of an ERP software
- University level degree
- Candidates must be based in the UAE
