Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a leading retail group based in Dubai. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Assistant Finance Manager who will report to the Senior Finance Manager (SFM).
You will implement improvements in the business processes as directed by the SFM. You will be responsible for the budgeting, cost control and MIS. You will also manage financial resources and systems necessary to deliver concept operational objectives.
In addition, you will take a front end lead and drive core responsibilities as and when required. You will also be a support system doing both financial and accounting back hand work as and when required.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have an MBA with at least 4 years experience in financial accounting preferably within the retail sector. You should have excellent presentation as well as written and verbal communication skills.
It is essential you have strong analytical skills and knowledge of advanced Excel functions / MS Word / MS PowerPoint. Ideally, you should be associated with a big group within UAE, handling payables over USD 125 million. Previous GCC experience will be advantageous; whereby you will bring knowledge and a cultural understanding of the region to fulfil this position.
