Our client, a government entity is urgently looking for an Assistant HR Manager who will be based in its Abu Dhabi office. For this role, you are expected to support the HR manager in implementing the HR strategy and corresponding policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, quality and professionalism for all outcomes affecting internal employees. Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Operations

General
* Ensures compliance with HR policies and procedures.
* Assists in the development of HR related forms.
* Collects employee feedback on the department to evaluate their satisfaction rate.
* Conducts benchmarking studies and research as required.
* Performs any other duties and responsibilities as required.

Manpower Planning and Recruitment/Selection
* Supports in updating the organisational structures and job descriptions as required.
* Assists in analysing manpower requirements and implementing manpower plans.
* Assists in recruiting a team of professionals to deliver company's projects and initiatives - this includes preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, and support in interviewing and selecting candidates.
* Manages posting of vacancies on company's website and received applications.
* Implements orientation and onboarding programs for new joiners.

Employee Relations
* Processes, verifies, and maintains personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
* Assists in developing attendance reports in order to assess the employee absences and provide recommendations to the concerned cost centre or business unit.
* Receives employees' requests and direct them to the relevant HR Manager for approval.
* Assists in collecting complaint forms and submits to the Manager, Human Resources.

Compensation, Benefits & Rewards
* Processes paperwork for new employees and enters employee information into the payroll system.
* Records employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, to maintain and update payroll records.
* Processes and issues employee salaries and statements of earnings and deductions.

HR Management System (HRMS)
* Manages the Employee Self Service (ESS) system to allow employees to submit needed information, including data relevant to their performance.

Requirements

To be considered, you should be a degree holder with minimum 3 years of general HR experience. You should have experience in managing people and exposed to general functions in HR including recruitment, payroll, employee relations and performance management. Fluency in English and Arabic languages is a must. This role is for Emirati national only.
