Job Description

The Assistant Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our cinema, creating a memorable experience for guests, and contributing to the overall success of our hotel.

Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence:

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the cinema, ensuring high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.
- Manage scheduling, staff rotations, and allocate tasks to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours.

Guest Experience:

- Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
- Address and resolve customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Team Leadership:

- Supervise and motivate cinema staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Provide training to new employees and ongoing development for existing team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and set performance goals for staff.

Financial Management:

- Assist in budget creation and management, ensuring cost control measures are implemented.
- Monitor and manage inventory, including concessions and cinema supplies.
- Implement strategies to maximize revenue through effective pricing and promotions.

Event Coordination:

- Coordinate and manage special events, private screenings, and promotional activities within the cinema.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote cinema offerings and drive attendance.

Technical Support:

- Ensure that cinema equipment is well-maintained and in working order.
- Liaise with technical support teams to address any issues promptly.

Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Oversee routine inspections and maintenance to guarantee a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

Requirements

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in cinema or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of cinema operations, including technical aspects and customer service best practices.
