Employment: Full Time

Within Transactions, our Valuation group helps clients understand the value of their business, their securities, intangibles, and other assets. Recently the group has also been involved in a number of significant valuation engagements in the Middle East Region.

As an Assistant Manager, you should be able to lead and serve as a member of multiple client engagement teams, performing business valuations and preparing financial models for our key clients.

You will be required to review financial projection models and compare with the historical results; participate in client meetings and site visits. And also, identify issues and propose strategies related to the procedures executed. Actively contribute to report generation and detailed financial modelling. You should maintain positive, productive and professional relationships with client personnel and colleagues.

Responsibilities:
- Preparation, management and delivery of assignments: typically have day-to-day responsibility for managing whole assignments or major modules of assignments depending on transaction size.
- Service a wide variety of clients, getting to know their unique business and needs
- Work with clients including private and listed companies, partnerships, trusts and individuals
- Manage project teams and participate in a collaborative team, with a focus on knowledge sharing
- Supervise and train Consultants and Senior Consultants – assign and coach junior members of the project team on execution of fieldwork

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or other related major required
- Should be a part qualified ACCA/CA/CFA/MBA or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 4 years relevant valuations experience required
- financial due diligence experience preferred
- Should have well developed knowledge of business valuations and their application and must have gained thorough and strong financial modelling experience
- Intermediate understanding of financial theory and general accounting issues required
- Proven ability to conduct industry research and articulate opinions on investment opportunities
- Should have a consulting mindset and experience
- Strong presentation skills; business writing skills
- Strong project management skills
- Should be a self-starter with excellent commercial insight and have familiarity with the deal environment
- Excellent analytical, communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teaming skills
- PC proficiency including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Relationship- focused and team-oriented (with clients, peers, management, etc.)
- Self-motivation to take initiative for personal growth and development
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
