Job description / Role
Assist with the department to plan, organize and direct all processes of procurement for FF&E, OS&E and any other categories as required for Royal Atlantis project to ensure a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with Atlantis The Palm standards, policies and procedures in order to maximize efficiency, productivity and cost effectiveness of the purchasing function.
Royal Atlantis is a new expansion of the existing Atlantis, The Palm property will stand 46 storeys tall allowing guests to feel that they are literally floating between the sky and sea! Visitors to this incredible new resort will delight in the luxury of 800 new guest rooms and suites and 250 luxury residences, while enjoying a variety of unique amenities from soaring private gardens to 90 meter tell infinity pools overlooking the ocean and The Palm.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement procurement strategy and policies
- Plan, implement & enforce control procedures
- Maintain vendor development & relationship management
- Maintain internal customer relationship
- Conduct budgetary controls
- Conduct market research & survey
- Maintain all procurement records to comply with future audit trail
- Liaise and work with Accounts Payable Department
- Any other tasks assigned by the Manager, Director or VP
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent research skills
- Must have 3-5 years relevant experience
- Extensive experience working in Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint
