Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting into: Vice President - Financial Reporting

Key Accountabilities:
- To assist Vice President - Financial Reporting in various activities related to Regulatory & Reporting requirements.
- Development of good quality deliverables and liaison with Finance personnel of various subsidiaries outside UAE for collating necessary information and coordinating with auditors, consultants and external parties.
- Responsible for audit, accounting, MIS, reporting, ERP and other finance issues.
- Managing day to day operational accounting issues in purchase journals / signing payment vouchers / reconciliations / month end closure
- Ensuring that corporate costs are accounted properly & completely -Co-ordinating with All departments in Gems for Accounts related issues and also resolving queries on daily basis.
- In charge of Accounts payables – Ensuring Urgent payments are done on time -Reconciling the major supplier accounts on monthly basis and resolving the issues.
- Departmental Allocation of Corporate Overheads and Cost Allocation to Schools _ Circulate the departmental issues to individual HOD on monthly basis
- Audit in-charge for all entities mentioned in first point - Preparation of Audit Schedules and clearing old issues in Accounting and coordinating with Auditors
- Supervision & guidance to Accounts Assistants and Cashier.

Requirements

Educational Qualification: Chartered Accountant / Certified Public Accountant / ACCA with knowledge in the following areas:
- UAE Regulatory / Central Bank Reporting Requirements / IFRS
- Consolidation, MIS and reporting skills
- ERP, Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence Software Using Skills

A minimum of 2 years in Financial analysis / reporting (or) Audit Firm (Big four only) post qualification.
