Job description / Role
Cibus Oil Trading provides customers with fuel for transport, energy for heat and light, power for industry, raw material to make lubricants, raw materials for road constructions and petrochemicals products used to make everyday items such as paints, clothes and packaging. Our offices are established in Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Singapore.
We are currently looking for an Assistant Manager Human Resource or HR executive at our Dubai headquarters. The designation will be agreed upon on the basis of past experience and seniority.
Purpose / Key objectives of the job
• Implement effective sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques
• Posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications
• Scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process
• Conducting employee orientation and facilitating newcomers joining formalities
• Design compensation and benefits packages
• Preparing and processing timely distribution of salary, bonus, increment salary slip, leave encashment and full and final settlements
• Implement performance review procedures (e.g. quarterly/annual evaluations)
• Develop fair HR policies, continually educate employees and ensure they understand and comply with them
• Creating and distributing company memos and documents throughout organization
• Preparing and submitting all relevant HR letters/documents/certificates as per the requirement of employees in consultation with the management
• Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
• Conducting exit interviews for employees and recording them accordingly
• Reviewing job descriptions for all positions at regular intervals and updating them in consultation with the respective managers
• Maintaining HR records, such as those related to compensation, health, medical insurance and annual leave balances
• Handling insurance-related issues
• Monitor HR department’s budget
• Act as the point of contact regarding labor legislation issues
• Manage employees’ grievances
• Create and run referral bonus programs
• Review current HR technology and recommend more effective software
• Measure employee retention and turnover rates
• Oversee daily operations of the HR department
• Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive
• Coordinate and direct work activities for managers and employees
• Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected
Requirements
Professional skills
• 3+ years management experience as an HR Executive or similar role
• Knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organization development, employee relations, employee engagement
• Familiarity with Human Resources Management Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting
• Good knowledge of labor legislation (particularly employment contracts, employee leaves and insurance)
• Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business administration, finance, or related field
• Highly computer literate in Microsoft Suite and various HR software programs
• A proven leader with strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and effectively educate and connect department managers and employees regarding all HR matters
