Job description / Role
The role supports the Planning and Program Management team in handling a variety of analysis tasks, data consolidation, meeting facilitation, and following up of various cross functional parties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Planning Manager in preparation of Monthly Sales Analysis Packages, and the Business Plan activity mid-year. Assist in industry data gathering/consolidation, competitive analysis, and sales forecasting within annual business plan cycle.
- Support the Product Planning Managers in developing business cases and forecasts for future product introductions. Conduct ad-hoc market studies to identify opportunities for portfolio additions or deletions. Maintain Competitor Product library (Vehicle brochures, Option lists, Customer Perceived Values, Retail prices). Support Product Planning Managers with future product positioning recommendations based on analysis of competitive environment and identification of the future trends.
- Support the Program Manager on meeting preparation, meeting minutes and follow up on key action items. Provide relevant data to platforms via regular conference calls and other communications.
- Support future model accessories and integrate the inputs of different departments to define and price the accessories portfolio with the Accessories Marketing Manager. Organize 3P meetings (Product Planning, Program Management, and Program Quality Readiness Review), compile meeting minutes and follow up items. Execution of special projects as required for Product Planning and Program Management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years automotive experience with good product & market knowledge, or demonstrated understanding and passion for the automotive industry.
- University degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related discipline. Strong preference for post-graduate education (Diploma or Masters).
- Excellent computer skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
- Good presentation and communication skills, resourcefulness in regards to data acquisition.
