Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

G4S is currently looking for an experienced Assist Manager for Pre-Sales, Bid and Design for Electronics Security Systems. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the successful candidate will lead a multi cultural team of Bid & Design Engineers to handle large and small bids in association with the Sales Team.

Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:
- Conducting site surveys, preparation of techno-commercial offers and complete submissions within the timeframe as per the requirement.
- Interact with the customers and consultants.
- Interact with suppliers /OnEM for pricing and technical input.
- Will be responsible for maintaining records and costings in ERP
- Work on tender documents (pre and post tender activities) prepare BQQ technical and commercial proposals
- Attend sales presentations, marketing and user group events.
- Presentations - preparation, delivery and follow-up on technical presentations
- Product demos - preparation, delivery and follow up on technical product demos.
- Provide technical back-up to sales - attend trade shows, follow-up after sales calls/visit etc.

Requirements

- Engineering Degree / Diploma holder or Electronics or equivalent
- Minimum of 7-10 years experience with 5-7 years experience in Pre-Sales/Bid & Design in Low Current Security Systems and Networking.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of Low Current Systems like Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, Gate Barrier, Intruder Alarm Systems, Video Analytics, etc.
- Project execution/sales background with an understanding of gross margin, costing and budgeting.
- Should have designing knowledge of IT infrastructure.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Must possess strong commercial acumen and excellent design abilities.
- Have pleasing personality and hard worker
- Good knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and MS Projects.
