Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a Family Office, who have a high-end portfolio of Real Estate, specifically focused in the Private Residential and Commercial properties sector. Owning both UAE and International properties, you will oversee and manage all day-to-day construction aspects of the local portfolio, reporting directly to the Real Estate Manager and Owners.
You will coordinate and monitor all construction, refurbishment and maintenance projects of high-end residential and commercial properties, to ensure their compliance to design brief specification. You will work closely with the owner and Real Estate Manager in assisting the design development of projects as required by the owner’s expectations. You will be the point of contact with on-site contractors, engineers and technical staff, offering site-supervision and inspection to the multiple projects, effectively communicating all findings directly to the owner in the form of reports and presentations. You will ensure best practice and health and safety is adhered to at all times, responding to any queries, relating to construction designs or drawings in a timely manner.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering and understand UAE building regulations and compliance guidelines. You will have a minimum of 5 years as an on-site supervision / inspection professional specifically within the construction, fit-out or architectural industry. You will possess full understanding of the Architectural and MEP design process, specific to Private Residential and Commercial properties in the UAE. You will be able to demonstrate relevant experience of working across more than one project at a given time through all design and construction phases, with a high attention to detail.
